  • Won’t be on much next couple of weeks. Also I have a lot for my TRUTH Blog “The Clowne From Clown” plus Tiffy’s, plus the Immortal Bob Smartass’s…So here is a double-header.

I have a cross on my front door,

It is part of the wooden frame.

A previous vicar had the door fixed in.

    I always cross myself

    Before entering my front door.

    When a youngster,

    My nephew crossed himself too

    Before crossing the threshold

    Of my vicarage.

    Now he no longer believes.

He didn’t want to tell me,

    As if I really cared;

    I told him that God

    Does not read your mind,

    Only your soul.

My nephew is a social worker

    For the handicapped adults,

They all love him down at the “club”

    Where they meet most days…

    But he does not believe.

    My nephew’s daughter

    Now crosses herself with me

As we step into my home.

She is as kind as her father,

But already she does not believe.

    As if I really cared.

    Reverend Tobias Trontby.

My eyes are moving like the breasts

    In a bra-less girl runner,

When you are supposed to admire their speed

When you only look at her tits,

    Or wait for the camera

To show her front pelvis area.

My eyes are moving that way right now,

    Maybe I am stoned.

  • I can just see your eyes, you may be older but you aren’t dead.  A little stone I don’t think will hurt you, I try on a glass of Mogan David once in a while and if one doesn’t do it, I go for a second.

I don’t look at or ask credentials for faith.  I don’t ask about faith at all really.  I just have to be around a person for a while and get to know them.  I can pretty well accept anyone if they act like a decent human being.  They don’t have to cross themselves for me.

  • I would think you’d get a headache with your eyes bobbin’ up and down like that!  :)    (PS–we’ll miss you–hurry back–and go with God.)

  • I enjoyed both of these a great deal — thank you!

  • Good work…thanks for sharing!

  • wow i especially loved the second one.  how painful … running braless … ow ow ow

  • I’ve decided today that I am going to change the world.  I just thought that I would let you know.

  • well just kick the stones off and get back up….*S*

  • I liked both of these very much. Make ‘em think, then ‘em laugh.

  • you’re not stoned..(hopefully) you’re probly just some 56 yr old guy desperate for sex…

  • the first one moved me more then i thought it would and the second one made me laugh my ass off. so i must say you have taken me on a nice ride at the park. i’ll be coming back again

    {-.-}/

  • Stoned…..maybe, but they are so cute. I like your style.

  • P.S. don’t leave us too long, you know that the Sarahs are going to bug you!

  • wonderful poems! i wish could relate about staring at the runners.

    take care.

  • different twists of your twisted mind…lol…never know what to expect from you but the unexpected is always here…

  • Tobias… why would someone be continue in a faith they no longer care for? Apathy is the bane of existence… why for example, would someone not renounce the vicarage if they no longer care? No longer care…
    Just some food for thought.
I once volunteered for a vegan meal give-away for the homeless… they were also offering free items like bumperstickers that stated “Passion is Uncool” A stance like that is so very uncool to me, and btw, what homeless person has anything on which to put a bumpersticker? Consider that a question for the day… kind of makes you question a lot of things. Hmmm….
