  • “The Last Easter”

    ________________

    Today we will see

    the death of The Messiah.

Few will know what his name is,

    none will care.

    He is just some Messiah,

    they will say*

    *(in between their killing

    and their lies).

    Just some Messiah,

    nobody very much at all.

And they will go on with their daily lives

    and worship their nasty little gods;

    and the sun will set

    and it will rise again

    for three more days.

    After that,

    there will be no Messiah

to save them from their darkness

    and petty wars.

    Jesus muttered in between tears

    for what might have been.

    “Ungrateful bastards!”

    my son sobbed,

as the earth began to die.

    The Ghost of God.

  • the ghost of god….now that sets the wheels spinning in my mind. I have written many a poem to God….never one by God. fascinating.

  • this is great, but you know that.

  • I have always said that he looks down upon all of this mess and cries tears of pain at what he sees.  How could he not.

  • I enjoyed this characterization.  Thank you.

  • nice job

  • i did . and i didnt :) erm.. shall i go shoot myself now…

  • Good job.

  • Ungrateful bastards, indeed.

  • I saw no diss – that was funny – thanks

  • Much of the evil in the world is done in the name of some diety.

  • Historically correct, I must say….

  • this post made me think…a lot…and i have had several beers, which is not good…and the damn owls are hooting…AGAIN…and i have a tight ass…not big at all…tight…tight…sleep on it and hush your mouth…and my mouth, too… goodnight, Terry.

  • This is really intense.

  • I thinked since before…you like joke..Happy Easter Day ../N

  • hmmmmmm. interesting.

  • i have never read anything before from god’s point of view…it makes you wonder what our creator is thinking, as he looks down apon the world he created, and that we are steadily destroying

  • Interesting piece…Though god still loves his children with the limitless grace and mercy.  It is through his son that we are saved in the first place.

Though it is worrysome for those that do know the truth and yet deny it…for the wrath of god is eternal as well…

  • so true so true  i sow truth!  a very important week glad to see  ones taking time too reflect and thus even writing about it

  • i like pineapples… but they have neither pine nor apples in them

  • Hey, come look at my funny kid! Luv, Megs

  • nic xanga mad funny though

  • congradulations!

you get my random propaganda for the day

    [have a good day]

    the_heart_finally_talks

  • um I’m not sure if he wud call us bastards but um good entry

  • The word that immediately came to mind was POWERFUL!!

I hope my last comment didn’t come across as the ravings of desirous, old lady! I just thought of a rhyme we said as we skipped rope at school….

    “Liar, liar,

     Pants on fire!!!!!”

    Apropos?????

  • That was deep Terry. The Easter season is such propaganda, I muster through it. Today is business as usual. What most christians don’t realize is that Easter is a pagan holiday celebrating Eostre the goddess or queen of heaven. The earth is truly dying. I love the signature, The Ghost of God and I love this observation of truth. Great one!
